Coming soon to iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows

Learn live. Practise smart. Know where you stand.

Gyanu brings school students in Classes 6 to 12 a live class with a real teacher, practice that adapts to them, and a clear picture of what they have mastered, for the student and for the parent.

Live classes

A class with a teacher, not a video call with strangers

Up to 80 students join one class. Each student sees their own group of 40 for chat and activities, so it feels like a classroom, not a crowd.

  1. Join from the app

The lobby opens shortly before the start. Students watch and listen; there is no student camera.

  2. Follow the board

The teacher teaches on a board made of slides, pictures and live drawing. It is drawn on your device, so it stays sharp on a slow connection.

  3. Take part

Raise a hand, send a reaction, tap "I'm lost" so the teacher sees confusion building, answer think-time questions, or ask in the private Q&A queue.

  4. Replay it

The server records every class, and enrolled students replay it inside the app. Students cannot record, which protects teachers and other children.

Practice and mastery

Practice that shows what you actually know

Adaptive practice

Questions follow chapter and topic, and adjust to how you are answering.

Chapter tests

Timed tests with one clear marking scheme, a palette of questions, a score and a solutions review.

Mastery, not just marks

Every topic sits on a four-step mastery scale, so you see what is strong and what needs work next.

Fix-it plans

When a topic is weak, Gyanu builds a short plan of steps to repair it.

Streaks, XP and badges

Small rewards for showing up and doing the work, including in live classes.

Plan and recordings

A study planner and recorded lessons for when you miss a class or want another look.

Book a slot with a mentor when a doubt needs a conversation.

Community

See what other students are asking and upvote the doubts you share.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which classes and boards does Gyanu cover?

Gyanu is for students in Classes 6 to 12. The boards and subjects offered will be listed in the app at launch.

Is Gyanu available now?

Not yet. The apps are coming soon; nothing on this site can be downloaded today.

How big is a live class?

Up to 80 students attend one class. Each student sees their own group of 40 for chat, teams and the Q&A queue, and everyone shares the teacher's video and board.

Can my child be seen or heard in class?

No student camera is ever used. A student can speak only if the teacher allows it.

Can students record classes?

No. The Gyanu server records every class and enrolled students replay it in the app. Screen capture is blocked where the platform allows.

What if my child misses a class?

Recordings appear in the app after the class, once processing is done.

How do parents give consent?

A one-time code is sent to the parent's mobile number. We record who consented, when and to which version of the policy. See the draft Privacy Policy.

What does it cost?

Prices and plans will be shown in the app before you pay. We have not published any here.

How are payments handled?

Through a payment gateway. Gyanu does not store card numbers or UPI PINs.

How do I delete my child's data?

Write to the contact address; a parent can withdraw consent and ask for erasure. See the draft Privacy Policy for what we must keep and for how long.
